Criminal Kids Whose Crimes Were So Awful They Were Sentenced As Adults
The world can be a dangerous place sometimes. Parents often do what they can to protect their children from this, but what happens when kids are the ones making things dangerous? It might not happen often, but there have been plenty of instances of criminal children breaking the law.
We're not just talking about a light theft, either. There are some criminal kids whose crimes were so bad they were tried as adults. Rather than sitting at home watching cartoons and being perfectly innocent, they were out there taking lives and striking fear in their neighborhoods.
Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier supposedly attacked their classmate because of Slender Man
Most people who have grown up with the internet will be familiar with Slender Man. A terrifying figure from an online Creepypasta, it was supposedly the motivation behind Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier's horrific actions in 2014. According to them, they heard voices from the boogeyman, which they wanted to appease. That's why they lured a classmate into the woods.
This classmate was Payton Leutner, who they reportedly stabbed 19 times. Thankfully, she survived her injuries and escaped to safety, allowing Morgan and Anissa to be caught. Both criminal kids apparently pleaded insanity during their trial, resulting in both being sentenced to psychiatric institutions. Geyser supposedly got 40 years, while Weier got off slightly easier with 25 years.
Jon Venables and Robert Thompson committed one of the worst crimes in history
You have to do something pretty horrific to commit one of the worst crimes in history. Unfortunately, Jon Venables and Robert Thompson did just that in 1993. The ten-year-old boys lured James Bulger, who was only two, away from his mother while they were out shopping. The mall wasn't empty, but almost no one challenged what the pair were doing.
Once the boys disappeared with Bulger, they reportedly committed all sorts of horrific acts, like putting paint in his eyes, attacking him with rocks, and making him eat batteries. He didn't survive his time with Venables and Thompson, passing away after a railway bar was dropped on his head. Somehow, the boys only stayed in prison until 2001.
Marilee Gardner reportedly wanted to take her own life and ended two others instead
It's heartbreaking how many young people desire to end their lives. Marilee Gardner was motivated to do it in 2016, and she apparently had a 17-year-old friend who was just as interested. Gardner reportedly stole her mother's car to commit the act, but things didn't go as planned. Instead of ending her life, she ended the lives of other people.
After hitting a car at 100 mph, the people in that vehicle passed away. Responsible for a first-degree felony, Marilee quickly became one of these criminal kids who were tried as adults. She apparently pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a juvenile center. Gardner allegedly feels remorse for her crime, but it's unlikely the victims' families will forgive her.
David Brom took an ax to his entire family because they didn't see eye to eye
Teens and parents don't always get along. That's puberty for you. Of course, in most cases, both sides find a way to cope without resorting to extreme measures. Not David Brom, though. In 1988, the 16-year-old reportedly couldn't stand his family, to the point that he wanted to end their lives in the most horrific way.
After allegedly telling friends what he was going to do, he took an ax to his mother, father, and two siblings. None of them survived their encounter with Brom, who was eventually caught several days later. After what he did, there was no doubt to many that he would be tried as an adult. David got three consecutive life sentences.
Joshua Philips ended his neighbor's life after a game of baseball went wrong
Ending someone’s life is usually one of the worst things someone can do. However, what 14-year-old Joshua Philips did to his neighbor took things to a new level. It's unclear precisely what played out, but it's believed that his neighbor - eight-year-old Maddie Clifton - wanted to play baseball with him. She didn't survive this game with Philips.
Apparently, it was all an accident, with Joshua unintentionally hitting his neighbor with the ball. However, this somehow led to him beating her with the bat and stabbing her repeatedly. Unsure what to do with the body, he hid Maddie underneath his bed. Joshua's mom later found her, and Josh was tried as an adult. He got a life sentence.
Jaheim Holley shot his friend and was tried as an adult because of his criminal record
You have to be careful what you post on social media because you never know how it might come back to bite you. In Justin McKnight's case, it apparently got him shot. That's because the 19-year-old reportedly uploaded a photo of money online that 13-year-old Jaheim Holley saw. When the two met up later, Jaheim robbed the man.
This might seem like an outrageous thing for a 13-year-old to do, but Holley apparently already had a criminal record at this point. So, when it emerged that he'd shot McKnight, many weren’t surprised that Jaheim was tried as an adult. After entering a plea bargain, he reportedly received five years in prison for shooting Justin.
Beth and Sandra Andersen staged their mother's passing to look like she'd ended her life
Beth and Sandra Andersen aren't real names - they were created to hide the identities of the sisters. However, while their aliases might be fake, their crimes are very much real. The two sisters, who were 16 and 15 when they committed their crime, apparently attacked their mom after earlier incapacitating her with drink and medication.
Their mom was put in the bathtub, and her head was held underwater for as long as four minutes. The pair reportedly believed they'd get away with their crimes because it looked like their mom had ended her own life. However, someone later exposed their crimes, leading them to be tried as adults and receive ten years each.
Craig Price's crimes were so awful that he prompted a change in state law
Several changes have been altered over the years, especially as some criminals have gotten younger and younger. One person who apparently influenced part of the law change was Craig Price, whose crimes were so horrific that state law was later adjusted to allow juveniles to be tried as adults for serious crimes. Price’s crime spree began at 13.
Craig allegedly stabbed Rebecca Spencer 58 times. She was just over double his age at 27, but that seemingly didn't prove an issue. Several years later, Price became even more savage when he took the lives of three people. These were his neighbors, who were 39, ten, and seven years old. Craig collectively stabbed them 149 times.
Morgan Leppert tried to pin everything on her boyfriend after attacking a helpless man
What prompts a child to commit such awful crimes like these? In 15-year-old Morgan Leppert's case, it was supposedly her boyfriend who was to blame. He was significantly older than her at 22 and was supposedly the one who convinced her to break into James Stewart's house. The 66-year-old had no hands, so he couldn't defend himself when they attacked.
James passed away that night, and Leppert was apparently quick to blame her boyfriend for everything. However, it didn't help her escape justice. Due to the nature of her crimes, Morgan was tried as an adult and received a 50-year prison sentence for the part she played in it all. All this because they apparently wanted Stewart's car.
Kim Edwards and Lucas Markham celebrated their horrific crimes with the Twilight movies
Kim Edwards and Lucas Markham didn't react the way that most people would after taking someone's life. The pair stabbed Kim's mom and teenage sister and then decided to enjoy an intimate moment together before watching the fantasy 'Twilight' movies. They apparently had a bath together to remove evidence of their crimes and supposedly acted like everything was fine.
Two days after this, the 14-year-old pair were caught, and both of these criminal kids were tried as adults. Kim seemingly lacked remorse after ending the lives of her family, apparently stating that she didn't miss her mom. Both parties received a 20-year prison sentence for their horrific crimes, although several appeals lowered this to 17-and-a-half.
Cristian Fernandez was only 12 when he viciously ended his brother's life
When people think of 12-year-olds, they often think of childhood innocence, not brutal crimes. Unfortunately, not all 12-year-olds are the same. Some of them end up getting tried as an adult for their crimes, like Cristian Fernandez. He reportedly ended his brother's life by repeatedly throwing him into a bookshelf. Fernandez allegedly had a history of violence against his sibling.
It wasn't long before Cristian was arrested for his crimes, but he wasn't quick to plead guilty. It was apparently two more years before he agreed that he'd taken someone's life, during which time there was seemingly discussion about whether he should be tried as an adult. Cristian ultimately received a nine-year prison sentence and was released in 2018.
Jasmine Richardson was convinced by her supposed vampire boyfriend to end her family's lives
It's concerning how many adults will pursue relationships with children. An 11-year age gap might not be a big deal to some. However, when one of the parties is only 12, it raises major red flags. Jasmine Richardson's family wasn’t pleased when they learned that she was dating 23-year-old Jeremy Allan Steinke, who claimed to be a vampire.
Seeing Jasmine's family as an obstacle in their journey to be together, the couple reportedly decided to end her parents' lives. They also ended up fatally attacking her younger brother too, who they'd apparently initially not wanted to hurt. The duo was arrested when they ran from the police, and Richardson was put behind bars for ten years.
Alex and Derek King's motivations for their horrific crimes are apparently still unknown
For some children who commit unthinkable crimes, the motivation for their actions is obvious. That's not the case with Alex and Derek King, though. The brothers, who were 12 and 13 when they committed their crime, had no clear motivation for attacking their father and ending his life while he was asleep, making for a difficult case.
The duo apparently struck him repeatedly with a metal bat before setting their home on fire. The pair received seven and eight years in prison, respectively, with many contemplating what led them to their actions. Some say they were worried about getting into trouble for running away, while others say there was a potential third party involved.
Aaron Campbell tried to blame his girlfriend for the horrific things he did to Alesha MacPhail
Many have questioned what was going through Aaron Campbell's head when he decided it was a good idea to kidnap Alesha MacPhail and assault her. She was only six years old and was apparently taken from her bed by Aaron, who ultimately ended her life. When Campbell was caught, he apparently tried to pin it on his girlfriend.
However, people saw through the 16-year-old quickly and knew he was to blame. With Alesha allegedly sustaining 117 injuries, Aaron was quickly charged and set to stand trial as an adult. He was given 27 years for his crimes, although this was later lowered to 24. It's unclear why, given that he was apparently "quite satisfied" by his actions.
Alyssa Bustamante apparently enjoyed ending the life of a nine-year-old
For some of these criminal children, life wasn't easy before they snapped and committed such awful crimes. In Alyssa Bustamante's case, she had a mom who was struggling with addiction so badly that the teenager had to live with her grandparents. She was allegedly eventually driven to take her own life, and that's when she decided to do something horrific.
Intrigued by what it would be like to end someone else's life, she stabbed nine-year-old Elizabeth Olten repeatedly before strangling her. Her actions were brutal, and Alyssa was seemingly without remorse, given she referred to her crimes as "pretty enjoyable." She eventually received a life sentence with a consecutive 30 years for what she did to Olten.
Tyler Hadley viciously ended his parents' lives because he couldn't have a house party
We've heard of house parties getting out of hand, but usually, they don't end with people losing their lives. In Tyler Hadley's case, the crime occurred before the party, with the 17-year-old attacking his parents because they wouldn't let him throw one. He reportedly hid their cell phones before taking some illegal substances and ending their lives with a hammer.
Tyler ended up hiding their bodies in their bedroom and proceeded to invite people over for the house party he'd been so desperate for. At least 50 people arrived, unaware of what Hadley had done to make this party happen. Thankfully, his crimes were discovered, and Tyler received two life terms when he was tried as an adult.
Shirley Wolf and Cindy Collier apparently viewed ending people's lives as "fun"
It can be tough for children to understand the severity of their actions, but what about ending someone’s life? Shirley Wolf and Cindy Collier were two teenagers who seemingly didn't care about the severity of going on a crime spree. That's why, in 1983, they knocked on doors in their neighborhood in search of someone to hurt.
Apparently, the pair settled on Anna Brackett, who, at 85 years old, was no match for the 15 and 14-year-olds. Shirley reportedly strangled the defenseless woman while Cindy stabbed her. Thankfully, the police apprehended them before they could commit another horrendous crime, which they allegedly wanted to do. To them, this was apparently all “just for fun.”
Jesus Mendez, Michael Bent, and Denver Jarvis viciously set another teenage on fire
It's hard to imagine just how terrifying it must be to have a group of people chasing you down, wishing you harm. That's the awful experience that Michael Brewer went through when he was 15 years old and apparently had a $40 video game debt. He was pursued by a group of five teenagers, who eventually set him alight.
65% of Michael's body was apparently burned that day, with three of the boys responsible ultimately getting charged. These were Jesus Mendez, Michael Bent, and Denver Jarvis, who were around the same age as Brewer. While Denver received an eight-year sentence, the others were given 11 years behind bars, with Jesus reportedly earning an additional 19 years of probation.
Seth Dorris and Austin Brumley were tried as adults after attacking Jonathan Bird
It's concerning just how easily some of these criminal kids will snap and commit some of the worst crimes in history. In the case of Seth Dorris and Austin Brumley, being told to slow down was apparently all it took for them to act. The 16-year-olds were joyriding when Jonathan Bird made the request. Things quickly turned violent.
The pair began to attack the 28-year-old before Austin made things worse by grabbing a hammer. He reportedly used this on Jonathan until the man passed away. His actions earned him a more severe punishment when the case went to trial as adults. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison while Seth was made to do 20.
Eric Smith fatally attacked a four-year-old after being kicked out of summer camp
Whenever there are criminal kids who were tried as adults, they immediately become the stuff of headlines. After all, people simply don't expect someone who's still classed as a child to be capable of such horrific things. It does happen, though, like with Eric Smith, who was only 13 when he decided to end the life of an innocent four-year-old.
Eric apparently attacked young Derrick Robbie after being thrown out of summer camp for behaving badly. Robbie had reportedly been on his way to the camp when this happened. Rather than pretend the crime hadn't occurred, Eric apparently admitted his guilt to his mom. He was consequently tried as an adult. 28 years later, he was released on parole.
Willie Bosket's ruthless actions resulted in the Juvenile Offender Act of 1978
Sometimes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, which isn't ideal when the tree is in prison for claiming multiple lives. With Willie Bosket's father behind bars, the teen seemingly took it upon himself to follow in the man's footsteps. He was allegedly proud of his violent nature, which saw Bosket claim the lives of three innocent people.
For a 15-year-old to do something so brutal, there needed to be a significant punishment. However, he only received five years for his crimes. The backlash reportedly resulted in the creation of the Juvenile Offender Act of 1978. It's thanks to this that kids from 13 years old can be tried as adults rather than children.
Marcelles Peter and Ari Morales were tried as adults for their horrific actions against another teenager
It's a heartbreaking truth that many women of all ages fear being alone at night. What happened to one 15-year-old girl outside of a homecoming dance in 2009 is proof of this. A group of men, apparently ranging from teenagers to 40-year-olds, allegedly asked her to drink with them. When she said no, she was treated horrifically.
The young girl was reportedly assaulted, burned, and made to drink what they gave her. Of the people convicted of this, two were a similar age to her. These were 17-year-old Marcelles Peter and 16-year-old Ari Morales. The pair were tried as adults because of their actions and received 29 years and 33 years behind bars, respectively.
Barry Dale Loukaitis ended the lives of several people in his school
The story of Barry Dale Loukaitis isn't a pleasant one. In fact, things were so bad that Barry was ultimately tried as an adult because he reportedly took four people's lives. Three of these were his classmates in algebra, while the other was their teacher. Thankfully, another teacher overpowered Loukaitis before he hurt anyone else.
This alone is tragic enough, but Barry's story is made worse by the revelation his mom was apparently planning to end their lives a few days later anyway. It's possible that his upbringing may have influenced the teenager's actions that day, not that this got him off the hook. Barry was deemed legally sane and sentenced to over 200 years.
A four-year-old allegedly ended his dad's life because he couldn't have a PS4
With video games being as popular as they are nowadays, kids sometimes struggle when they can't get their hands on the latest console. The longer they're without it, the greater the risk of them being shunned by some of their peers. Still, that doesn't justify what one Saudi Arabian four-year-old reportedly did when he wanted a PlayStation 4.
Most kids would just scream the house down or be in a perpetual mood if their parents said they couldn't have a games console. When this kid's father denied him what he wanted, though, the boy reportedly resorted to violence. He apparently took his dad's weapon and shot the man several times until he passed away.
Carl Newton Mahan was only six when he became one of the youngest criminals
Some criminal children wait until their teenagers until they strike. Others? They’re still in the single digits. Carl Newton Mahan is an example of someone turning incredibly violent at such a young age. He's quite possibly the youngest child in the US to ever take a person's life, as he was only six when it happened.
In 1929, Carl apparently lashed out at an eight-year-old girl after they started fighting over some scrap metal. He threatened to shoot her and seemingly followed through with that, prompting calls for him to be sent to jail for life. However, that's not what happened. Instead, Carl was reportedly sentenced to spend the next 15 years in reform school.
Sandy Charles allegedly believed that ending someone's life would give him powers
The type of media children are exposed to can have a significant impact on their development. In the case of Sandy Charles, it seemingly turned him into a child who was ultimately caught and charged as an adult. The 14-year-old had watched the horror movie 'Warlock' and was inspired by the notion he might gain powers from ending someone's life.
A seven-year-old ended up being his unfortunate victim, with Sandy apparently luring them into the woods and removing parts of their skin. The teenager took this home to cook and eat because he allegedly believed it would give him the power to fly. His actions landed him in a psychiatric hospital when it emerged that Sandy had schizophrenia.
A 15-year-old quickly turned dangerous after a babysitting incident turned violent
Some criminal kids choose their victims from people outside their homes, while others opt for those within the family. One 15-year-old from Utah apparently decided on the latter in 2013 when a babysitting incident turned very sour. The teenage boy had been asked to watch over his two younger siblings when something made him snap.
It's unclear what it was exactly that drove him to claim the lives of his siblings, who were only ten and four. However, their mother was the one who sadly found them. The culprit apparently wasn't home at that point and was later picked up several miles away by the police. His identity remains unknown.
Juliet Hulme and Pauline Parker attacked the latter's mom after they were nearly separated
When you have a best friend who means the world to you, the thought of being separated from them can be hard to cope with. Still, that doesn't make it okay to go to the lengths that Juliet Hulme and Pauline Parker did. These two New Zealanders were apparently inseparable, but Hulme's family decided to move to South Africa.
In response, the girls apparently went for a walk with Parker's mother, during which they violently attacked her with a brick. Unfortunately, the woman didn't survive the beating, which is what the best friends wanted. However, their stories of what happened soon unraveled, revealing they were to blame. The criminal kids received five years and avoided capital punishment.
Peter Woodcock's imagination led to him ending the lives of several children
It's not uncommon for people to have imaginary friends when they're a child. However, most people don't cook up a fake gang and go around ending people's lives. Unfortunately, that's precisely what Peter Woodcock did. With his imaginary Winchester Heights Gang, he reportedly went around the neighborhood ending the lives of various boys younger than ten.
Despite the severity of his crimes, Peter was deemed not of sound mind and found not guilty by reason of insanity. Instead of going to prison, he was sent to a mental health center. The facility was maximum-security, although he was later moved to one that was lower level. Peter was ultimately sent back when he ended someone else's life.
Jesse Pomeroy was tried as an adult after being connected to several violent crimes
It's been a long time since Jesse Pomeroy joined the list of criminal kids. His violent actions stem all the way back to 1874 when a four-year-old's body was discovered in his mom's shop. At this point, Pomeroy already had form for assaulting and mutilating kids, so when the child was found, the fingers apparently soon pointed his way.
After a ten-year-old also lost their life, the police were apparently adamant that Jesse was to blame. He was swiftly caught and convicted, almost resulting in capital punishment. However, Jesse managed to avoid this and was instead sentenced to a lifetime in solitary confinement, a punishment seemingly befitting one of history's most violent criminal kids.
Brenda Spencer claimed two lives after an unprovoked shooting at an elementary school
It's truly terrifying when someone lashes out for seemingly no reason at all. It makes you wonder what others around you might be capable of. 16-year-old Brenda Spencer seemingly had no reason to wake up one day and start firing at an elementary school opposite her home. The reasoning she gave at the time was apparently, "I don't like Mondays."
Brenda was ruthless, reportedly shooting at over half a dozen kids, along with the principal, a custodian, and a police officer. Understandably, her actions resulted in her taking ot the stand as an adult. Two people passed away as a result of what she did in that playground, so Brenda was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Two boys were put through a horrific ideal by two other boys around their age
We've seen that criminal kids are capable of some horrific things. However, the crimes committed by two boys in South Yorkshire in 2009 are some of the worst crimes in history. The pair - who were 12 and ten at the time - apparently lured two other boys - aged 11 and nine - to what was almost their final resting place.
Here, the victims were apparently forced to assault one another, beaten with bricks, burned, and apparently even hung by a noose. The fact that they managed to survive the ordeal is incredible, although one nearly didn't make it after spending a while on a ventilator. The pair will likely never mentally recover from what happened, but at least they're alive.
Jordan Brown was supposedly jealousy of his stepmom's pregnancy and lashed out
A divorce is rarely ever easy, especially when there are kids involved. It can be hard for children to cope with their parents splitting up and moving on with other people. Of course, most don't go to the lengths that 11-year-old Jordan Brown was accused of when his parents divorced, and his father's new partner fell pregnant, though.
Supposedly upset about the pregnancy, Brown ended the life of his stepmom and her unborn child. The boy was arrested and placed behind bars, where he remained for most of a decade. His case was overturned in 2018 after Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court claimed that prosecutors hadn’t provided enough evidence of Jordan’s guilt to justify his conviction.
Ricky and Danny Preddie initially escaped justice before they were sentenced
The full extent of what happened to Damilola Taylor apparently isn't clear. What is supposedly clear, though, is that Ricky and Danny Preddie were the criminal kids responsible for ending his life. At some point, they allegedly attacked his leg with a broken bottle, with Taylor eventually passing away after bleeding out in a stairwell.
The Preddies weren't immediately charged for the crime because people initially believed that Taylor had fallen on the bottle. At a second trial, the jury was apparently split over what had happened. Eventually, though, they voted against the boys. At this point, they were over 18 and consequently tried as adults, earning eight years in prison each.
Lionel Tate is currently the youngest criminal child to receive a life sentence
Thanks to the actions of Willie Bosket, criminal kids who are 13 or older can be tried as adults. As it currently stands, Lionel Tate is reportedly the youngest person to receive a life imprisonment sentence in the United States, thanks to that. The 13-year-old was sentenced after ending the life of Tiffany Eunick, who was only six.
The crime reportedly happened when Tate was 12. He and the girl were allegedly wrestling when things took a turn for the worst. After holding her in a chokehold for too long, Tiffany passed away. Although he received a life sentence, this was actually overturned in 2004. However, Lionel later ended up back in jail anyway for armed robbery.
A 14-year-old used a weapon against his mom because she wouldn't let him see his friends
From a kid's perspective, it can sometimes seem like parents do the things they do because they're horrible people. Usually, though, they're just looking out for their children. Unfortunately, one 14-year-old from Detroit apparently didn't see things that way when his mom told him that he wasn't allowed to spend time with his friends anymore. So, he lashed out.
It seems that the woman's fiancé had a loaded weapon that the teenager took for himself. He reportedly used it against his mom, and the outcome was fatal. The boy was consequently arrested for his actions. In response to the horrific crime, the mayor of Detroit remarked that parents should be taking greater responsibility for their children's behavior.
Graham Young's obsession with poison made him one of the most dangerous criminal kids
It's okay to be fascinated by things, but if that develops into an obsession, it can spell big trouble. When Graham Young became interested in poison, things certainly didn't end well for him. The teenager reportedly started to poison the people closest to him, namely his family. The problem was that no one had any evidence he was doing it.
This ultimately changed when he was 15. Young apparently ended his stepmom's life and was caught out. Although he was sent to a psychiatric facility, the poisoning apparently continued, but once again, his actions went under the radar. When he was released nine years later, his behavior continued, and Graham claimed another person's life before he was stopped again.
Catherine and Curtis Jones ended their stepmom's life when they were both young
Jealousy is the motivating factor behind many horrific crimes, including some of those committed by criminal kids. In the case of Catherine and Curtis Jones, these siblings apparently ended their stepmom's life because she was supposedly taking all of their dad's attention. Catherine was 13 at the time they shot their stepmom, while Curtis was 12.
The pair reportedly became the youngest criminal kids who were tried as adults, with the duo receiving an 18-year prison sentence. Apparently, the siblings might have been intending to end their father's life as well after it emerged that the kids had allegedly been assaulted multiple times. However, it was only their stepmom who was taken from this world.
Rachel Shoaf and Shelia Eddy ended their friendship with Skylar Neese in violent fashion
It's not necessarily rare for a teenager to go missing. Plenty run away all the time. However, not all of those who disappear ever come back, as was the case with Skylar Neese. The 16-year-old suddenly vanished one day and didn't reappear for six months. Unfortunately, she didn't come home alive and well as her family had hoped.
Rachel Shoaf and Shelia Eddy were to blame for this. They'd been Skylar's friends for a long time, but at some point, their feelings apparently changed. Instead of cutting ties, the teenagers attacked Neese in the woods by stabbing her repeatedly. Their violent actions meant they were criminal kids who were tried as adults, receiving decades in prison.
Mary Bell had reportedly claimed two lives by the time she turned 12
We'd like to think that it's only adults who are capable of horrific things, but all these criminal kids who were tried as adults prove otherwise. Some of the worst crimes in history were committed by children, like the victims strangled by Mary Bell. She supposedly told them they had a sore throat that she could massage better.
Bell was ten when she first claimed someone's life. Thankfully, she was stopped after her second victim when a former accomplice told the truth about what had happened. This was after Mary had reportedly carved an "M" into someone's abdomen using a pair of scissors. She was arrested at 11 and released at 23, her identity remaining hidden ever since.
